Chardham Yatra - Uttarakhand

Places:

Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar

Arrive and settle in the spiritual city of Haridwar. Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Haridwar → Barkot / Janki Chatti (6–7 hrs)

Scenic drive along the Yamuna river. Overnight stay near Yamunotri base.

Day 3: Yamunotri Darshan → Barkot → Uttarkashi (4–5 hrs)

Early trek to Yamunotri Temple. Return and continue journey to Uttarkashi. Rest & overnight.

Day 4: Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Back (3–4 hrs each way)

Drive through picturesque valleys to Gangotri Temple. Return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi → Rampur/Phata (6–7 hrs)

Drive to Guptkashi/Rampur/Phata – Kedarnath base region. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Kedarnath Darshan

Travel by helicopter or trek (16 km) to Kedarnath Temple. Experience divine serenity at 11,755 ft. Overnight stay at Kedarnath (or return, depending on choice).

Day 7: Return to Rampur/Phata

Trek/helicopter back from Kedarnath. Rest and recover. Overnight at Rampur/Phata.

Day 8: Rampur/Phata → Badrinath via Joshimath

Scenic mountain drive to Badrinath. Visit temple and nearby attractions like Mana Village. Overnight stay.

Day 9: Pandukeshwar → Pipalkoti/Karnprayag (3–4 hrs)

Visit Pandukeshwar Temple, then head to Pipalkoti or Karnprayag. Relax and unwind.

Day 10: Pipalkoti/Karnprayag → Haridwar (8–10 hrs)

Long drive back via Rishikesh routes. Evening at leisure in Haridwar. Overnight stay.

Day 11: Departure from Haridwar

Blessed conclusion of the Chardham Yatra. Drop at railway station/airport.
